Over the 25 odd years he has spent running a legal practice, Peter has been fortunate enough to experience a wide-ranging, high-profile legal career. As special counsel for Cornwalls, Peter prides himself on facilitating meaningful connections between like-minded individuals and businesses – which is designed to improve outcomes for the firm and its clients.

Currently, Peter is the honorary consul of Timor-Leste and Georgia, and will be promoting exciting opportunities available to Australians through these associations.

Throughout the years, Peter has been engaged in various prominent community and organisational leadership roles, and he possesses a keen interest in community affairs. He also has high-level expertise in commercial and financial management, and is an experienced consultant and mediator across the public and private sectors.

As an avid philanthropist, Peter collaborates with individuals and organisations to maximise the impact of his contributions in the areas of the Arts and Creative Industries, International Cooperation, and the Indigenous and Education sectors.

Peter is past President of the Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI). In 2003, he was awarded the Centenary Medal.

Peter is also a former Chair of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, former Deputy President of the Museums Board of Victoria and former Board Member and President of the Geelong Art Gallery.
