Expertise

Anita is an experienced commercial lawyer, having been admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in 1998. She works in the general commercial domain with particular interest in the SME market across many industries and looking after the personal affairs of those in it.

Anita advises clients on a full range of commercial transactions, including commercial and industrial property, acquisitions and leasing.

She is an integral part of our Business and Estate Planning and Administration team, advising clients on business succession planning and personal estate planning (including Wills, Powers of Attorney and more complex estate planning issues) and the estate administration process, from Grant of Probate to distribution of the estate and disputed estates.

Anita appreciates the importance of being the trusted advisor and building the relationship with our clients and their other advisers like their financial planners and accountants to get the best result overall.

She has a highly personal approach, working closely with clients and their other advisors to achieve their desired outcomes, whether it be building the business/life they love, taking steps to ensure their families are provided for in the future or dealing with what happens after a client passes away.

  • commercial agreements, including in the not-for-profit and marine industries;
  • trading terms and conditions;
  • business succession planning;
  • wills and estate planning;
  • deceased estate administration; and
  • marine facilities (marinas, slipways, hardstands, andwharves).
