Tania is a highly committed and driven corporate lawyer with a keen interest, extensive experience and strong credentials in all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) spanning multiple sectors and jurisdictions, equity capital markets (ECM), complex commercial transactions, capital raising, corporate governance and franchising. She has acted as a trusted adviser for global corporate entities, ASX-listed entities, international franchise networks and professional services entities, as well as individuals in their own unique adventures.

Tania’s ability to provide clear and effective legal solutions that satisfy the needs of particular clients comes from an understanding of commercial and reputational risks as well as legal risks. This is derived from her experiences working in-house and running her own legal practice, as well as working in private practice.


Tania’s experience includes:

  • acting for a listed French multi-national company in the establishment and expansion of its business throughout Australia by the acquisition of Australian bitumen manufacturing and importation businesses;
  • acting for an ASX-listed proptech company in multiple technology-related acquisitions;
  • establishing a French multi-national construction company in Australia by setting up an Australian branch, negotiating and documenting arrangements between business division entities and implementing effective governance structures;
  • advising and assisting a range of companies in their preparation to list on the ASX and proceeding to list by IPO or back door listing;
  • acting for an ASX-listed franchise network to acquire a competing cross-border franchise network;
  • working in-house at NRMA to acquire Pumphouse Point, Cradle Mountain Hotel, Freycinet Lodge, Strahan Village, Gordon River Cruises and a stake in Coral Expedition Cruises.
