Peter is Special Counsel to the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group and heads the firm's Construction Group.

He has over 20 years experience providing commercial advice, drafting construction contracts, providing contract administration advice and advising on disputes for clients and where required, conducting complex litigation. Peter's primary role in the firm is as leader of the Construction Group, which provides a full range of legal services to clients engaged in the construction industry.

He has recently acted for:

• major contractors working on large scale infrastructure projects in Victoria and New South Wales, providing advice together with contract negotiation and drafting services;
  
  
• the owner of a Melbourne CBD site, advising and preparing construction documentation for a 50 level apartment/retail complex;
  
  
• the overseas based owner of another Melbourne CBD site in the beginning phase of a similar project proposed to consist of multiple towers including negotiating and drafting multiple consultant contracts;
  
  
• the owner of a number of sites in several states providing a full range of construction legal services in connection with single and multi level retail and retail/office building projects; and
  
  
• a major telecommunications company, advising and acting generally in relation to claims made across Australia arising our of a large scale telecommunications project.

Peter has particular interest and expertise in all aspects of the construction industry and the commercial imperatives associated with work in the industry.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
