James is special
counsel to the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology
group.
A registered Patent Attorney, James has extensive experience in both
litigious and non-litigious work covering all facets of intellectual
property: patents, trade marks, designs, copyright, confidential information
and unfair trade practices.
James has a keen interest in technological developments in industry
and also information technology.
Prior to joining Cornwall Stodart, James was a practising barrister
for many years. He maintains close links with the Victorian Bar.
James
holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash
University.
James is a member
of the Institute of Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia.
